Fostering

What does fostering a pet involve?

Fostering a pet means providing a temporary home for an animal in need until a permanent adoption can be arranged. As a foster, you are responsible for the daily care, love, and basic training of the pet, just as you would for your own pet. All veterinary care and major supplies, such as food and bedding, are typically provided by the rescue organization.

I am Conditionally Approved, what does this mean?

If you filled out an application for a dog and received a notification that you are Conditionally Approved that means the dog you applied for has been adopted to another family or your home is not a match but your application is approved to move forward in the process. The next step you need to take is to respond back to that email notification with additional dogs you are interested in. We highly recommend listing multiple dogs due to the popularity of many. Once your email is received and reviewed a coordinator will respond via email or phone.
